No complaints about the weather, especially from Barry as he shot the perfect end on a Tuesday morning practice session at 40 yards.
Bruce added 3 of his own golds to the total for good luck.
Even a Wednesday afternoon, (off the cuff fun shoot of Lucky Numbers) had a few participants. Another made up game which I thought was fun even though in this photo everyone looks like they’d just lost a winning lottery ticket! You’ll have to ask them. Stephen in black, was the clear winner with excellent grouping at 12 or so yards, the numbers are quite small.
Hopefully members are gearing up for the next Game of Arrows which will be on 22nd July with a BBQ, salad, and soft drink following the event, all for £3. For those that prefer a stronger tipple you can always bring it along for after the shoot. So, we’re all wishing for a glorious weekend again, sun cream and hats at the ready.
For those of you who don’t follow planetary alignment, and sorry to remind you, the 21st of June was the longest day, so daylight hours are drawing in from now on, so get shooting.
Winter is coming.
